The Medieval Festival takes place on the two Sundays of the 2nd and the 9th of December.Entertainment throughout the town from 10am on both Sundays.Medieval Re-enactments ( Knights in Battle ) take place at 11:30, 13:00, and 14:30 approx. near the Skipton Town Hall.
Corio Raptor Hawks and Owls, I think will be in the same place as last year close to the Castle public house, with a bit of luck they should fly some at some time during the day.
The famous market will be in full swing all day and the Lantern Procession starts at 16:00.
All sorts of other things going on throughout the day. Arrive early for parking in the town, Skipton Building Society will be doing parking again probably the cheapest in town ( £2.00 - £3.00 ), proceeds I think, going to charity.
As usual, everything is subject to weather conditions, lets hope for dry days at least.
